2022 Foshan Spring Festival Epidemic Prevention and Control Initiative Announcement of Foshan 2020 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters

Proposal on epidemic prevention and control during the Spring Festival in 2022

Dear citizens and friends:

The Spring Festival is approaching. This year, citizens and friends have voluntarily cooperated and actively participated in epidemic prevention and control, and jointly protected our happy home. Currently, the COVID-19 epidemic is still prevalent around the world, and local epidemics have occurred in many places in China. The situation of epidemic prevention and control is severe and complex. In order to keep you and your family healthy and enjoy a safe, happy and peaceful Spring Festival, we issue the following initiatives:

1. Arrange travel reasonably. Please try your best to celebrate the festival locally and nearby, and avoid traveling to cities in medium- and high-risk areas unless necessary. If you really need to go out, please understand the local prevention and control requirements in advance, and take personal protection and record your itinerary information. All people coming to Foshan from other provinces must have a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. If there is no certificate, please take the initiative to take a nucleic acid test within 48 hours after arriving in Foshan; if you arrive in Foshan from a medium- to high-risk area, please do so as soon as possible Take the initiative to report to your community and unit, and cooperate with health management measures.

2. Reduce unnecessary gatherings. Try not to hold or participate in various large-scale gatherings during holidays. It is advocated to "delay happy events, keep funerals simple, and do not hold banquets." Family dinner gatherings should not exceed 10 people. Individuals who hold banquets with more than 5 tables and other gatherings must report to the local community committee to implement local epidemic prevention and control regulations. Units that hold events with more than 50 people must formulate epidemic prevention and control work plans and emergency plans, and implement requirements such as "body temperature must be measured, itinerary must be checked, masks must be worn, venues must be disinfected, and emergencies must be handled".

3. Strengthen self-protection. Please develop good habits such as wearing a mask, washing hands frequently, disinfecting frequently, opening windows frequently, ventilating frequently, and using one-meter noodles to avoid giving the virus an opportunity. Pay attention to seasonal climate changes, add or remove clothing in a timely manner, and reduce the risk of frequent diseases and infectious diseases in winter and spring.

4. Strengthen health monitoring. Please pay close attention to the physical condition of yourself and your family. If you develop symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, fatigue, etc., seek medical treatment in a timely manner while taking protective measures, and truthfully inform your personal travel history.

5. Get vaccinated in time. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the most effective and economical way to prevent infection. Eligible citizens are requested to complete the full course of vaccination as soon as possible and establish an epidemic prevention "barrier" as soon as possible.

6. Do not believe or spread rumors. Pay close attention to authoritative information such as official epidemic prevention and control policies and adjustments to medium- and high-risk areas, and do not create, believe or spread rumors.

Dear citizens, the epidemic is not over, and the fight against the epidemic is still going on! Let us join hands to fight against the epidemic, and finally welcome the spring! Here, I wish all citizens and friends a happy new year and good health. Healthy and happy family!
