1974, Guo Rongrong was eighteen years old. After years of hard training, Guo Rongrong also laid a good foundation for ballet. At this time, in order to fulfill her childhood wish, she came to the local recruitment office to sign up for the army.

Soon completed the corresponding procedures, physical fitness and other inspections are also qualified. However, at the stage of political censorship, Guo Rongrong was rejected by the army because of family factors.

Early the next morning, Guo Rongrong set off again, and the bodies of Vietnamese troops and prisoners of war escorted by our army could be seen everywhere along the way. Under the strong offensive of our army, the Vietnamese army was defeated in just one month. After successfully conquering the important Vietnamese town of lang son, our army announced its withdrawal.

However, the defeated Vietnam was not willing to fail, so it began to form a large number of guerrillas, raided the rear of our army, and called on Vietnamese civilians to participate.

One day, Guo Rongrong received an order to transport the wounded back from Gaoping, so she followed the motorcade to the domestic direction.

What Guo Rongrong didn't know, however, was that a Vietnamese guerrilla had already ambushed in the only place where the motorcade passed. These guerrillas have only one task, and that is to attack the logistics of our army!

It's getting dark, and Guo Rongrong is sitting in a car. Although she was very tired, Guo Rongrong was very happy at the moment, because she knew that the war was coming to an end and our army would win.

At this time, a few shots suddenly came from the front of the team. A stray bullet instantly penetrated the carport and hit Guo Rongrong's carotid artery. Guo Rongrong died instantly.

On the other hand, because of the limited vision in the dark, one comrade-in-arms only saw Guo Rongrong lying on one side, so he quickly stepped forward to help, only to find that one hand was full of blood!

At this time, Vietnamese guerrillas began to attack the motorcade. Because it is a logistics force, its combat effectiveness is weak, and our army has to evacuate while requesting rear support.

Zou Shiming wanted to take Guo Rongrong away now, but it was too late. The Vietnamese army has started hand-to-hand combat with our army. If you don't go, you can't go.
