According to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases", the "Regulations on Emergency Response to Public Health Events" and other relevant laws and regulations, and the "Regulations on Doing a Good Job in 2020 by the General Office of the Ministry of Civil Affairs" In the spirit of the document "Notice on the Tomb-Sweeping Day Sweeping Work in 2020", in order to do a solid job in epidemic prevention and control during the Qingming Festival in our city, avoid the spread of viruses and cross-infection caused by gatherings of people, effectively curb the spread and recurrence of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, and protect the people during the Qingming Festival In order to ensure the health and safety of the public, the relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. Implement distributed appointment scans.

Yangquan City’s funeral homes continue to implement epidemic prevention and control measures. During the Qingming Festival, the demand for mass sacrifices and sweeps will be considered. In order to avoid gatherings of people, starting from March 27, our city’s funeral homes will implement time-sharing and peak staggering based on capacity. For sacrifice sweeps, the number of daily sacrifice sweeps is limited. People who really need on-site sweeping must call in advance to make an appointment and try to avoid the peak period of the Qingming Festival holiday. People entering the funeral home need to register with their real names, check their health codes, have their body temperature taken and wear masks. On April 3 and April 4, centralized worship and cremation services will be suspended.

2. Suspension of centralized memorial and sweeping activities.

During the Qingming Festival, various group activities such as collective public sacrifices will be suspended. On April 3rd and 4th, on-site funeral and burial services such as Yangquan Xiyuan Cemetery and Shengdiyuan Cemetery will be suspended. At other times, you can make reservations by phone.

3. Advocate online sacrifice scanning.

Citizens are encouraged to pay their respects through online memorial services, making memorial cards, laying flowers and burning candles, and writing messages.

4. It is strictly prohibited to visit public places such as city roads, squares, residential areas, parks, green spaces, scenic spots, etc. ** Places of burning ghost paper and ghost coins.

5. It is strictly prohibited to use fire for sacrifices in forest areas, grasslands, fields and other outdoor areas, and it is strictly prohibited to set off firecrackers.

6. It is strictly prohibited for any unit or individual to make or sell paper cows, paper horses, paper figures, ghost coins and other feudal superstitious products.

7. During the Qingming Festival, our city will adopt traffic control measures such as bans and restrictions on the roads at major memorial and sweeping sites. This year there will be no arrangements for clearing bus lines during the Qingming Festival.

8. The majority of party members, cadres, and state public officials should take the lead in changing customs, refrain from organizing or participating in on-site memorial and sweeping activities, and advocate a new trend of green and civilized memorial and sweeping activities.

9. The general public is kindly requested to provide understanding, support and cooperation, and consciously abide by laws, regulations and relevant provisions on epidemic prevention and control.

Anyone who disobeys the epidemic prevention and control work during the Qingming Festival and disrupts the normal order of funeral service agencies and memorial and sweeping sites will be dealt with by relevant departments in accordance with laws and regulations.
