In fact, what attracts foreigners is to feel the primitive and simple life of ethnic minorities.

Later, I went to several villages around Kaili. The roads in those places are well built, which is very shocking. I heard that Guizhou province is mountainous, and I thought the traffic in minority villages deep in the mountains would be very bad. However, under the policy of building roads before getting rich in China, the traffic conditions in these places have been greatly improved.

Inheritance of traditional crafts

Shi Qiaocun is a place where paper is produced, and the previous paper-making method has been handed down as a traditional process. Now the villagers are making paper in the cave. Because the local water quality is very suitable for papermaking, the paper produced here is very strong and can be preserved for at least 1000 years. Handmade paper is very similar to Japanese paper. I bought some. The quality of this paper is very good. There are flowers and grass in the middle of the paper. It looks beautiful and is good as a gift.

Then I came to Miao Village in Dao Ji. The traditional craft there is Miao Xiu, which has formed an industry. There is an embroidery association in the village, which inherits embroidery culture and buys embroidery crafts.
