How to grow garlic yellow?

Garlic can be sown and harvested continuously from the first ten days of 10 to the last ten days of March of the following year. It takes about 20 ~ 25 days from sowing to harvesting under suitable temperature conditions, and the sowing date can be determined according to the marketing period.

Soak garlic seeds

The day before sowing, soak garlic in woven bags with 20000 times gibberellin solution for 3-4 hours. Although the soaking process is simple, it is essential. Otherwise, garlic seeds absorb water and swell after sowing, and are squeezed into bumps on the cultivation bed, which is not conducive to the germination and growth of garlic.

3. Sowing method

Put the garlic seeds that have absorbed enough water into the cultivation pond, leaving no gaps as far as possible. The gap is also tightly filled with loose seed petals. Generally, garlic seed 10 ~ 20kg is used per square meter. After sowing, it is covered with fine sand for 3 ~ 4cm, rammed with wooden boards, then poured with water, and then covered with a layer of fine sand 1 ~ 2cm after seepage.

1. Variety selection

Garlic yellow has a high output value. Only by choosing a large petal variety can it germinate quickly, grow vigorously and yield high. When selecting seeds, remove the garlic cloves that are frozen, rotten, injured and weak.

2. Cultivation site

Garlic yellow is mainly cultivated in low temperature seasons in winter and spring, and can be cultivated in places with certain temperature conditions. Commonly used plastic greenhouses, small arches, wind-proof walls, empty rooms, vegetable pits with poor thermal insulation performance, or beside the floodplain and running springs;

Step 3: Prepare the soil and make the bed.

Dig a culture bed with a depth of 30 ~ 40 cm in the reserve, with a bed width of 12 ~ 15 m, and build a rectangular culture pond with a brick depth of 0.5 ~ 0.6 m indoors. In the floodplain or by the spring, the cultivated land with a depth of 1 ~ 1.5m can be dug. Garlic yellow can be cultivated with fine sand or sandy loam, spread sand or soil in the cultivation bed for 3 ~ 6 cm, and then spread flat.
