Why does my Apple default to imessage when texting?

First of all: After the iPhone is activated, the iMessage switch is turned on by default.

Secondly, iMessage is an instant messaging software launched by Apple, which can not only send short messages, but also send videos, address books, location information, photos and so on. The most commendable thing is that the security of iMessage is so high that it is said that it is difficult for even the FBI to decrypt the information in Message.

Finally: when the other party uses Apple products, such as iPhone, ipad, ipod touch and mac, then texting is the default iMessage.

If iMessage bothers you, you can turn it off according to the following steps.

First open the "Settings" application on the main screen of Apple's mobile phone.

Locate the Information column in the list of settings, and then click Enter.

Then click the switch on the right side of iMessage in the information list to close it.
