The reason for this prompt may be: 1. Check whether the password of the logged-in user is wrong. 2. Check whether there is something wrong with the keyboard of the local computer. 3. Check whether the server directory is full of 777 permissions.

Solution to the problem:

1: Return to Alibaba Cloud ECS console.

2: cloud server ECS-& gt；; Example->; Select the instance to operate-> Will enter the instance you want to operate.

3: Click More next to Remote Connection.

4. Resetting the password once requires SMS verification. Please note that the password here is not the 6-digit password connected to the remote control, but the password of the root account.

5: Password changed successfully.

6. Restart the instance manually (this step needs to be completed). I tried to change my password several times before and then log in directly, but it didn't seem to work.

7: After waiting for the successful restart, connect the remote control again, enter root and the password just modified, and you can log in normally.
