(1) Communication and Information System (08 100 1)

1909 jiaotong university opened the course of "radio" for the first time, which initiated the training of communication talents in China. Later, the department of telecommunications was established, and a large number of well-known scholars such as Academician Jian were produced. Jiaotong University set up a "radio gate" for electrical engineering in 19 17, and then set up a "wired communication and wireless communication gate" in 192 1. 1952 after the adjustment of the department, the "Ministry of Telecommunications" was established. 1934 Tsinghua University established a telecommunication group in the Department of Electrical Engineering. 1952, Tsinghua University and Peking University Department of Electrical Engineering merged to form Tsinghua University Department of Radio Engineering. 1952 China People's Liberation Army Institute of Telecommunications Engineering (now the predecessor of xidian university) opened the Department of Information Theory and the Department of Radar Engineering for the first time, which pioneered the training of communication and information processing talents in China.
