Notice on collecting clues about illegal and criminal activities of manufacturing and selling counterfeit and inferior drugs

In order to safeguard people's health and life safety, and further crack down on illegal activities of manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs, Hengyang Public Security Bureau decided to launch a special campaign to crack down on illegal activities of manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs in the whole city in 2022. In order to strengthen social supervision, collect clues about the manufacture and sale of counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs in time, and severely punish illegal acts of manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs according to law, the relevant matters concerning the collection of clues are hereby notified as follows:

First, the scope of collecting clues is to crack down on the manufacture and sale of counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs within the administrative area of Hengyang City, focusing on the following illegal and criminal acts:

1. Manufacturing and selling fake and inferior vaccines, masks, COVID-19 test kits, disinfection products and other items related to the epidemic;

2. Special groups such as children who manufacture and sell counterfeit drugs, emergency patients, cancer patients, and long-term drug addicts after cardiovascular surgery;

3 manufacturing and selling counterfeit rheumatism, diabetes, hypertension and other commonly used drugs with long medication cycle and large dosage;

4 manufacturing and selling counterfeit and inferior medical beauty drugs and injections;

5 manufacturing and selling counterfeit well-known brands of drugs and medical devices;

6. Chinese herbal medicines produce and sell fake and inferior products, and illegally add western medicine ingredients and toxic and harmful substances to Chinese herbal preparations;

7 other illegal and criminal acts of producing and selling fake and inferior drugs.
