Brief introduction of UNESCO organization

Build bridges between countries in the fields of education, science and culture. On June 6, 2005, the Beijing office of UNESCO confirmed that "World UNESCO" did not exist at all. A reporter once inquired about the management and registration office of non-governmental organizations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and was told that if it was a regular non-governmental organization, it would definitely register with the civil affairs department. Both the Haidian District Civil Affairs Bureau Community Office and the local industrial and commercial office in Beijing said that there was no such organization. The reporter called the Beijing office of UNESCO. Zhang Changfang, administrative assistant of the administrative finance department of UNESCO Beijing office, was very surprised. "You have been asked before!" Zhang Changfang said that the inquirers were medical professionals. He received an invitation from the World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization to join the World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization as an expert member, and was told that the World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization maintained contact with the United Nations. Except for UNESCO, the invitee has never heard of "UNESCO", so he called the Beijing office of UNESCO to inquire about the relationship between the two. "It doesn't matter at all!" Zhang Changfang said that not only that, as far as she knows, there is no such organization at all. The reporter also asked the UNESCO National Committee in China for verification, and a staff member surnamed Qiu once again denied the existence of the "World UNESCO".

In the investigation, Beijing Youth Daily reporter found that the only contact place of the organization in Beijing is a special mailbox of a post office, and all the company telephones entrusted by the organization found through the directory enquiry desk could not be contacted. From June 5438 to/kloc-0 to October 8, 2005, the reporter contacted UNESCO according to the invitation letter of expert members provided by relevant personnel, but it was never successful. The reporter first contacted according to the telephone and fax on the invitation letter, but the other party was always in a state of no answer. Subsequently, according to the "Beijing Century Fashion Culture Exchange Center" of the Beijing Liaison Department mentioned in the organization's "Letter to Expert Members", the reporter found the phone number of the center through the directory enquiry desk. The directory enquiry desk told the reporter that the center registered two phone numbers, but after the reporter contacted, he found that one of the phone numbers was the ticket office, and the other party said that he did not know the center, and the other phone number was empty.

In all the materials in the reporter's hand, the address of the agency did not appear, and the only contact address of the letter was Beijing 40- 1 16 mailbox. The reporter learned through the post office customer service center that the mailbox belongs to the Wufangyuan Post Office in Shijingshan. The post office staff said that this kind of special mailbox can be rented by individuals or companies, and the letters come with them, but they need to show certain proof materials before they can be used. As the person in charge of the post office did not go to work, the reporter could not learn more about the situation.

From 2004 to early 2005, Beijing Youth Daily, Chengdu Zuobao, Wenzhou Daily and Tianfu Morning Post reported that a self-proclaimed "UNESCO" had issued a number of "invitation letters for experts" nationwide, and said that they were in contact with UNESCO. Upon inquiry, this organization has no specific office location, nor the necessary records of relevant industrial and commercial departments and civil affairs departments, and has nothing to do with UNESCO. Now the police investigation shows that this UNESCO may be suspected of fraud.
