Provisions on paid tutoring and cram schools for teachers

Paid tutoring or remedial classes are not allowed.

Article 5 of the Code of Professional Ethics for Primary and Secondary School Teachers issued by the education department stipulates: consciously resist paid tutoring and seek personal gain without taking advantage of one's position. According to the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Teachers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Professional Ethics of Primary and Secondary School Teachers and other laws and regulations, local education departments have issued local laws and regulations to prohibit primary and secondary schools and in-service teachers from engaging in paid remedial classes.

Complaints about teachers

If the teachers concerned violate the regulations, they can collect evidence and complain to the education department.
