Affected by the substitution of Internet application services, the mobile short message service continues to decline. From 20 16 to 1-7 months, the national mobile SMS business volume reached 385.6 billion, down 7.9% year-on-year.

Peer-to-peer SMS initiated by mobile phone users decreased by 30.3% year-on-year, and the proportion of mobile SMS services decreased to 30.8%, down 9.8 percentage points from the same period last year.

The mobile MMS business volume decreased by 1 1.9% year-on-year, which was 0.9 percentage point lower than that in June, and the total number of MMS sent was 32.6 billion. The revenue of mobile short message service was 22 billion yuan, down 10% year-on-year.
