University of Science and Technology Liaoning, referred to as "University of Science and Technology Liaoning", is located in Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is one of the earliest metallurgical universities in China. It has been selected into the Education and Training Plan for Outstanding Engineers of the Ministry of Education, the National New Engineering Research and Practice Project, the scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students, the Hundred Schools Project, the key construction universities of first-class universities in Liaoning Province, the pilot universities of credit system management in Liaoning Province, and the pilot schools of transformation and development in Liaoning Province. It is an engineering school and has the right of exemption for graduate students.
