Change the settings separately

To make a prompt sound after the text message is sent: Start-Settings-Sounds and Reminders, check all the options under the sound box.

To receive text messages: Start-Settings-Sounds and reminders-Notifications-Events, under new text messages, check Play sound, vibrate or not, and there are options below.
