There are five ways to inquire about car violation: traffic brigade terminal inquiry, car violation website inquiry, telephone inquiry, mobile phone short message inquiry and mobile phone software inquiry. Traffic violation inquiry refers to the behavior of inquiring about motor vehicles violating traffic management through the network or inquiry terminal. Article 95 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, if a motor vehicle traveling on the road fails to hang a motor vehicle number plate, inspection conformity mark or insurance mark, or fails to carry a driving license and driver's license with it, the traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall detain the motor vehicle, notify the parties concerned to provide the corresponding number plate and mark or go through the corresponding formalities, and may impose penalties in accordance with the provisions of Article 90 of this law. If the party concerned provides the corresponding number plate, logo or goes through the corresponding formalities, it shall return the motor vehicle in time. Whoever intentionally conceals, defaces or fails to install the motor vehicle number plate in accordance with the provisions shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of Article 90 of this Law.
