There are many reasons for the failure of SMS reception, please rule them out one by one:

Answer: Check whether the message is intercepted (the message has been received normally, but it was intercepted and not displayed in the message list). There is also a prompt (small hand icon) when intercepting information, but it is different from the new message prompt. You can turn off information interception (information->; Menu->; Harassment interception-> Settings-> Harassment interception, turn off this option).

B: To check whether the operator sends short messages abnormally, please call the operator's customer service number.

C: Replace it with a normal card and test whether it can be received normally.

D: Is it a third-party application? It is suggested to change to native SMS application to check whether it is normal.
