Chapter VII of the self-inspection report on statistical law enforcement is to do a good job in statistical law enforcement inspection, thoroughly implement the basic policy of statistics according to law, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of statistical data, and give full play to the important role of statistics in national economic and social development. According to the spirit of the document, a leading group for statistical law enforcement inspection, headed by Comrade Wang Xianzhang, deputy head of the township, was established. According to the requirements of superiors, a comprehensive self-examination of statistical work was carried out. The self-inspection is now reported as follows:

First, strengthen leadership and publicity.

My township conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Statistics Law, the Punishment Provisions and the Notice, conducted a comprehensive self-examination of the township's statistical work in accordance with the requirements of the Notice, and effectively strengthened the organization and leadership of the major inspection. On this basis, our township should do a good job of "four combinations", that is, the combination of centralized publicity and regular publicity, the combination of facing public opinion and highlighting key points, the combination of legal knowledge publicity and publicity and law enforcement, and the combination of publicity forms and publicity effects.

Second, carry out self-examination.

In accordance with the requirements of the higher authorities, our township has earnestly carried out the self-inspection of statistical law enforcement, including organizing and studying the propaganda and statistics law, punishment regulations and their implementation, whether to register statistical management, whether to hold posts with certificates, the methods of main data sources, whether there are original records and statistical accounts, whether there are illegal acts, existing problems and rectification measures. Through self-examination, all departments in my township must have a full understanding of this statistical law enforcement inspection, and leaders should pay attention to it, take effective measures, and designate a person to be responsible for this work.

Third, there are problems.

Through this law enforcement inspection and self-examination, the following problems were found: first, the number of statisticians at the grassroots level is small, their comprehensive quality is low, and their knowledge of statistical business and statistics law is not comprehensive;

Second, the leaders of individual units pay insufficient attention to statistical work, the statistical network is not perfect, and there are no full-time or part-time statisticians;

Third, statisticians have not done enough research;

Fourth, the inconsistency between individual departments and statistical departments and the phenomenon of data fighting still exist, which leads to the lack of authenticity and continuity of statistical data. Found in this statistical work inspection and law enforcement inspection. Many units have incomplete original statistical records, have not established statistical accounts and statistical systems, and have poor sources of statistical data or even no source basis;

Fifth, there are still phenomena of late reporting and omission in statistical data reporting.

Fourth, the rectification measures

1, improve statistical status and improve statistical treatment. The statistics law and punishment regulations should be strictly implemented to ensure their relative independence and legitimacy, so as to enhance the statistical status and solve the problem of the treatment of statisticians.

2. Improve the statistical supervision system. In order to put statistical work at all levels on the right track and improve the quality of statistical work in an all-round way, statisticians of statistical units at all levels are required to hold relevant certificates, establish a regular inspection system, strengthen supervision and management, and put an end to statistical violations.

3, improve the statistical ledger and original records, improve the quality of statistical data. In order to improve the quality of enterprise statistical data, it is necessary to establish and improve original records and statistical ledgers according to statistical laws and regulations and statistical report system, and truly achieve "factual statistics".

4, strengthen the construction of statistical team, improve the quality of statisticians. A relatively stable statistical team can accumulate experience, make greater contributions to unit management and provide accurate statistical data for government statistical departments.

5. Realize the computerization of basic statistics, get rid of manual reports and improve work efficiency. The networking and informatization of statistical work is an inevitable trend. Statisticians should study computer knowledge hard and combine it with their own professional work in order to improve the service level of statistical work quickly.
