1. When the bank card number is catchy and easy to remember, the cardholder will definitely not want to throw it away, but will desperately look for it and continue to use it. In order to ensure the safety of bank card funds, you can choose to report the loss orally. Just call the bank customer service hotline or the bank branch to tell the bank card number, name and ID number. If you don't know the card number, you can ask the cashier to check it. If multiple accounts are found, please select the same account as the lost bank card funds. Generally speaking, the validity period of oral loss reporting is very short, 3-5 days, and the system will automatically cancel after the expiration.

2. Customers can also bring their ID cards to the counter of bank outlets, fill in the corresponding Application Form for Loss Reporting, and clearly and correctly fill in the ID number, loss reporting type, name and card number. Whether the password is lost or the certificate is lost, as long as the certificate is not reissued, it will be regarded as a temporary loss report. After finding the bank card, the customer can go to the counter to cancel the bank card password or report the loss.

3. It usually takes 7 days for China Merchants Bank to report the loss in writing at the counter (legal holidays or other places take longer). If you reserve your mobile phone number in the bank, you will receive a SMS notification after you prepare a new card. Bring your valid ID card to the designated outlet to verify the withdrawal password, and then you can get the card. If the real-time card receiving conditions are met, the card can be received in real time, but the card number will change.

4. If you really can't get the card at the designated outlet, you can go to any branch of China Merchants Bank with your valid ID card to re-designate the card receiving bank. Report the loss of frozen funds. The money in it is still there, but it will still be deducted if the bank loan or credit card is repaid automatically.
