Article 13 If an active-duty soldier dies, based on the nature of his death and the monthly salary standard at the time of death, the civil affairs department of the county-level people's government shall The specific standards for a one-time pension to be paid to their survivors are: for martyrs and those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, it is 20 times the national per capita disposable income of urban residents in the previous year plus 40 months of their own wages; for those who died of illness, it is the national per capita disposable income of the previous year. The per capita disposable income of urban residents is twice the amount plus 40 months’ salary. If the monthly salary or allowance is lower than the salary standard for platoon second lieutenant officers, it shall be calculated according to the salary standard for platoon second lieutenant officers.

Article 18 If the survivors of martyrs, survivors of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, or survivors of soldiers who died of illness who enjoy regular pensions die, the regular pensions they originally enjoyed will be increased for 6 months as funeral expenses, and their benefits will be canceled at the same time. Certificates for receiving regular pensions will no longer be issued regular pensions from next month.

When a disabled soldier passes away, an additional year's pension will be issued as funeral expenses. At the same time, the regular pension and subsidy certificates will be cancelled.
