Principle solarwinds sends the alarm information directly to the receiver's mobile phone through the GSM modem by customizing the alarm information.

Specific operation steps.

1. Hardware connection, connecting the modem with the server with solarwinds installed. Pay attention to ensure that there is a signal in the computer room, which can be tested by mobile phone. If you can send text messages in the computer room, there is no problem.

2. As shown below, install notepage pro (the installation process is very simple and omitted here) and configure it. For the first time, run the configuration wizard and select Tools-Connection Wizard.

3. Select the modem and enter the name of the operator, which can be any name.

4. Select the protocol type, here select GSMAT.

5. Create a recipient, enter the recipient's name, ID/PIN is the recipient's mobile phone number, and select the operator we created. Others can be left blank.

6. configure solarwinds. Select alarms in solarwinds control panel-> configure alarms.
