How do township cadres do mass work well

Among cadres at all levels in China, township cadres directly face the masses. In this sense, in terms of mass work ability, township grassroots cadres should be the strongest. At the same time, we should also see that the difficulty of mass work has greatly increased today, and comrades are facing new challenges. For example, village cadres used to listen to everything, but now villagers are autonomous and have the right to speak. In the past, when the big horn at the head of the village sounded, the spirit of the superior was conveyed to every household. At present, farmers are doing their own work and ploughing their own fields, organizing personnel, convening meetings and communicating information, which is very difficult to manage. In short, the situation is different, and the mass work should have new routines and new methods. Facing the new situation and new problems, it is more important than ever to grasp the characteristics and laws of mass work under the new situation and strengthen the Party's mass work. The report of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward: "Adhere to the historical materialism that the people are the creators of history, serve the people wholeheartedly, adhere to the mass line, listen to the voices of the masses sincerely, truly reflect their wishes, truly care about their sufferings, and do more good deeds and practical things for the masses, so as to make power work for the people, love them and benefit them. Seek truth from facts and push forward all work, and do more things that lay the foundation and benefit the long-term. " This not only puts forward new requirements for us to do mass work well, but also points out the direction for us to carry out mass work.

To do mass work well in the new period, I think we should base ourselves on four key points. Namely: first, dare to do mass work; Second, willing to do mass work; Third, be diligent in mass work; Fourth, be good at mass work.

(1) Dare to do mass work. Under the new situation, mass work has heavy tasks and many clues. Many cadres often feel that "the old method will not work, the new method will not work, the soft method will not work, and the hard method will not work". Now a few cadres are afraid to deal with the masses and do mass work. The main reason for this phenomenon is that these cadres have not established a correct view of the masses and have seriously alienated the masses. Or arrogance, lack of feelings for the masses; Or lack of talent, lack of work background; Or hands and feet are not clean, the image is not good, and the righteousness is insufficient. Working in the office every day, I am not good at getting in touch with the masses. Because of the lack of direct contact with the masses, I can't grasp people's hearts, can't solve problems and lack confidence in the face of the masses when doing mass work. Therefore, we should have the courage to "dare to face" the masses, be upright, remain uncorrupted, and do practical things, do good things and solve difficult problems for the masses face to face.

(2) Willing to do mass work. Whether you are willing to do mass work or not, you must first solve the problem of ideological understanding. Thought is the guide to action. Now, some cadres are indifferent to the sufferings of the masses; Some methods are simple and rude; Some make blind decisions, causing losses to the interests of the masses. Therefore, we should always bear in mind the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly and actively do a good job in mass work. Secondly, we should solve the problem of who to serve. I am filled with emotion. Touching people, don't worry about feelings yet. Everyone has feelings, and the highest expression of the feelings of the producers of * * * is to have a sincere heart for the people. Only by first integrating with the people ideologically can we really think, make decisions and do things based on the interests of the people. Full of feelings, the combination with the masses will consciously and sincerely produce a sense of responsibility and mission; We will always keep the safety of the masses in mind and try our best to solve their difficulties. Facts show that more contact with the masses will reduce bureaucracy; More contact will actually reduce subjectivism; More contact with people's feelings will reduce formalism.

(3) Be diligent in doing mass work. Being diligent in doing mass work requires us to go deep into the masses, persist in coming from the masses, be diligent in burying our heads, accurately grasp and understand the thoughts, needs and expectations of the masses, help them solve practical difficulties in production and life, and provide accurate information for solving outstanding contradictions and disputes. Looking back, we didn't work hard enough in mass work and thought it was a cliche to adhere to the mass line. At present, many problems at the grassroots level are caused by not paying attention to mass work, not doing mass work well, not doing mass work well, or even doing mass work well. In this regard, I often think about the following basic questions: First, what does the producer do? * * * The production party is to realize the "Theory of Three Represents", and in the final analysis, it is to represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. Second, how is the * * * production party in power? * * * The ruling of the production party is to lead and support the people to be masters of the country. Third, what do leading cadres do? Leading cadres are servants of the people, not officials. Now some leading cadres are good at "leading work", but they can't do mass work. Fourth, how do grass-roots organizations play their role? Grass-roots organizations directly deal with the masses, and all the work of grass-roots organizations boils down to one point, that is, doing mass work, including serving the masses, doing ideological work of the masses, concentrating the demands of the masses, and implementing the tasks of superiors among the masses. If you think about these problems clearly, you will understand the orientation and direction of the work and how much energy you should put into mass work.

(4) Be good at mass work. It is far from enough to have enthusiasm and enthusiasm to do mass work well under the new situation. We must also have new methods and tricks, be good at handling the interests of all parties and fully mobilize all positive factors. Specifically, it requires us to master laws and regulations on the one hand and methods on the other.
