1. When the litigation documents are delivered to the defendant's residence, they shall be delivered directly to the addressee. If the defendant has an agent, he may send it to his agent for signature.
2. If the defendant refuses to accept the litigation documents, the service person may invite the representatives of relevant grass-roots organizations or units to be present to explain the situation, and the witness of the service person shall sign or seal it for lien service.
3. If it is difficult to directly serve litigation documents, it may entrust other people's courts to serve them on its behalf or by mail.
4. If the whereabouts of the addressee is unknown, or it cannot be served by the above other means, it shall be served by public announcement. Sixty days after the announcement, it shall be deemed to have been delivered.
5. After the above-mentioned service procedures, if the defendant refuses to appear in court after being summoned by summons, he may make a judgment by default.
If the judgment is made by default, the people's court shall also announce the judgment to the absent party and serve the judgment in accordance with legal methods and procedures. If the absent party's whereabouts are unknown, there is no agent, or it cannot be served by other means, an announcement can be made on the bulletin board of the court, the original residence of the addressee, or in a newspaper. After 60 days from the date of issuance, the announcement shall be deemed to have been delivered. If you refuse to accept this judgment, the parties may submit an appeal and a copy to our court within 15 days after the expiration of the announcement. If the judgment is overdue, it will take legal effect and can be enforced.
