Main Responsibilities

(1) Implement national, provincial and municipal laws, regulations and guidelines on health work, and formulate local laws, regulations and draft regulations for the development of health and health services in our city. Policies, planning, formulation and implementation of relevant standards and technical specifications. Make overall plans for the allocation of health resources and guide the preparation and implementation of regional health plans.

Formulate and organize the implementation of policies and measures to promote the equalization, universal benefit and convenience of basic public health services and the extension of public resources to the grassroots.

(2) Coordinate and promote the city’s deepening of the reform of the medical and health system, and study and put forward suggestions on major guidelines, policies, and measures for deepening the reform of the medical and health system. Organize and deepen the comprehensive reform of public hospitals, promote the separation of management and office, improve the modern hospital management system, formulate and organize the implementation of policies and measures to promote the diversification of health public service providers and diversification of delivery methods, and propose medical service and drug pricing policies suggestions.

(3) Formulate and organize the implementation of major disease prevention and control plans and intervention measures for public health issues that seriously endanger people's health, and organize the implementation of immunization plans.
