For a moment, I felt that I had slept in the refrigerator, and we were all wearing thin short sleeves.

Most Foxconn people have low academic qualifications and have been working in such an environment for a long time. Many of them are psychopaths, especially boys. They are always harassing girls with unsightly text messages. They feel chaotic and their interpersonal relationships are quite complicated. We short-term workers live with old employees and are always bullied. I don't know why they always look down on us.

Our work is three shifts, but the night shift makes us feel like we are dead. The working environment is hot and noisy. What I did was box the product. A big machine produces products day and night, and I have to box the products all the time. The product just out of the machine is very hot, and it is easy to produce defective products. At the same time, we have to take time to check whether there are any defective products, sometimes we forget to check them, and if there is a problem, we will be scolded by the supervisor. Sometimes I feel in a trance that I am a machine, a small machine that serves the big machine, without thinking, doing mechanically repetitive things.

When we went there, the incident of Foxconn jumping off a building had just passed, and protective nets were installed in buildings above the third floor of the factory to prevent people from jumping off a building. After staying there for more than a month, I couldn't stand it, let alone someone who has worked for more than ten years. Every day is nothing but eating and working. There is no entertainment and no friends in the factory. There is only work that can't be done day and night, and there is no time to think or even spend money.

The work in the factory seems to be fast, but the food is youthful and the quality of life is very low. Many people who have worked in factories for about three years will not adapt to other jobs in society. So I suggest you don't just look at the immediate salary, young man. The most important thing is to learn something.

Why would you rather sit in an office with 4000 yuan than work in a factory with a monthly salary of more than 7000 yuan? This phenomenon has existed for a long time, not at this stage.

In 2004, I was in charge of administrative work in a clothing company. After the Spring Festival, the most important job is to recruit people. Front-line employees offered 1200 a guaranteed piece-rate package for food and shelter, and subsidized 2 yuan for working overtime for one hour, which was a good treatment among peers at that time. Over the years, with the improvement of automation and intelligence, the traditional concept has become weak, but it is undeniable that it still exists, especially in traditional industries. Without the pressure of life, this factor is being strengthened. Many newcomers who have just left the society would rather be old-fashioned if they don't agree to work, not to mention psychologically imprisoning themselves with a price difference of more than 3,000 yuan. The opening of the circle has become one of the main reasons at present. With the development of the Internet, especially the mobile Internet, people are accustomed to the lifestyle of big space and pursue more contact and thinking collision. However, factories, especially production lines, give people the feeling that they are closed, deprived of time and even emotionally out of place.

Of course, there are many superficial factors, such as working environment, work content, tools, team vitality and development space.

Compared with the actual achievements in these years, few student soldiers have gone to the front, and even fewer can persist. Only two people keep in touch with me. At the beginning, things were scarce, and people with academic qualifications naturally attracted much attention in the front line, and there were many opportunities for promotion from the front line.

At the beginning, people who chose clerical positions are generally now, but they are entangled in personnel, administration and doing their own e-commerce, and there is no special development. The development of foreign trade salesmen and merchandisers is good.

In a word, this phenomenon can not be separated from those three main reasons, plus an expectation of development space. It is necessary to remind young people that a new wave of independent professional innovation is coming, and having a skill is the key. Some transactional functional positions are superficial for the time being, but they are useless in the middle-aged workplace or in the era of independent occupation.

The pattern is different. Just stay in the factory for a while. I graduated from junior college and studied small languages. I can't find a job after graduation. I went to the factory for half a year. The front line of the factory is all under high school education, and so are some management positions. Only the cultural high point in the office, the girls on the production line, dress better every day. Today, this place is for the love of tomorrow. Their values are shallow, their world outlook is narrow and they are full of dirty words. I feel different. One of my colleagues also graduated from junior college and was bullied away by them. I really don't want to live that life. Later, I worked in an office. Although my salary averages 4000 to 5000, I don't have much overtime. I work in the factory for 12 hours a day, so I have no time to think about anything else.

Why do many people prefer to get a monthly salary of 4,000 to 7,000 yuan in the factory? I think only wage earners in our factory can say one, two, three!

The factory is located in a third-tier city, so I won't go into details about which factory. Mainly the factory work system, two shifts. It's not bad when you work in two shifts, at least you can get off work on time. At present, the benefit of our factory is off-season. The whole workshop has four production lines and three teams. How can we change? As usual, four production lines need eight teams and two shifts. Why are there only three teams now? Because the factory is not profitable at present, it can't support so many teams. You know, a team comes standard with 45-50 people!

I don't know if I drove the employees away on purpose or something. At present, the factory system can be said to be completely inhuman! There are two points:

First: lunch break, half an hour!

Half an hour means that you have to race against time to have lunch, eat slowly and start work before you are full at eight o'clock. Take myself for example, if I queue up for a meal, eat it at high speed and walk to the workshop, there will be three minutes left. I can't finish a cigarette in three minutes. The terrible thing is that the dinner time is also half an hour (8: 00 to 8: 00, two working meals), which is very long.

Second: leaders like to put production first, and things that need to be dealt with need rest time!

I told you above, take a lunch break for half an hour. As I said, I usually have three minutes after dinner. What can I do in three minutes? You should take the time to smoke heavily, and also ask you to use your rest time to deal with problems. I really don't treat you like a person. The machine will burn out if it runs for a long time, and the cows will be exhausted, not to mention the flesh and blood. This is what I hate most. The rest time is compressed to the extreme and will be occupied. Generally speaking, the leader lets me use my rest time to deal with problems, depending on my mood. I may use it when I am in a good mood, which is very annoying. I am a human being, not a robot!

As I told you above, the benefits of the factory are in the off-season at present. There are three teams and four production lines, which means there is no double shift system for the time being. When there are two shifts, no matter whether your plan for today is completed or not, the night shift at 20:00 must be handed over and forced to leave work. But at present, there are no two shifts and no night shift, which is the beginning of a nightmare. Why do you say that? No shift change means that no matter how long you work overtime, you must complete the production task of the day.

Some people may question that it is impossible for that company to complete all the tasks assigned to you. Isn't it normal to work overtime? The company doesn't keep idle people. I'll tell you why, and you'll know!

It can be said that the company squeezed the production platform with a stopwatch and compressed the plan. How many hours can you produce a day? Under normal circumstances, one shift can barely complete the task, which is normal and no problem. What should I do if the equipment fails and the line stops due to material shortage? Unless the line is stopped for three to five hours, it is impossible to replenish production. If it is stopped for an hour, I am sorry. Work overtime tonight to make up the shoot, and often get off work at 2 1:00 and 22:00. In the words of the leader, the boss only looks at the result, not the process, and the result is that the task must be completed!

What about overtime pay? How to calculate?

The company only pays two hours of overtime until 20:00, and the excess is regarded as voluntary overtime. No overtime pay. In the words of the leader, the tasks arranged by the company can be completed on time, and it is your team's own reason to pay the bill! What do you think of this system? Working overtime almost every day, how much time do you have for yourself? I have heard too many complaints: my wife has to run away with others during such working hours. This is no joke, but you can make up for it yourself!

I told you above that the fourth line used to be four teams, but now there are only three teams, and the three teams still don't match. Second, interpersonal relationships are weak.

Third, long working hours and low quality of workers around them are not helpful for personal promotion.

Many factories work in two shifts. There are also three shifts, but there are not more than 7000 without overtime. Working hard every day 12 hours, including commuting and changing shifts, has actually spent more than 14 hours. With the remaining 10 hour, what do you think you can improve? Most of the workers around are from poor areas, and their educational level and knowledge level are very low. During the investigation in the washing machine factory, it happened that a worker had a broken finger and went to the hospital to see a doctor. The boss came, brought some good gifts and stuffed thousands of dollars, which made the workers extremely excited. He didn't understand that it was a work-related injury, and he didn't know that he had lost his finger and couldn't stay in this factory any longer. I am very upset, but what can I do? What can you learn from them?

If I were you, I would choose to stay in the factory for a few years, especially young people. 4000 white-collar workers just look glamorous, and there may be more room for promotion, but promotion is just to work for others. If you choose a factory in 7000, you can save 4000 yuan a month, 50,000 yuan a year, and you can save100,000 to150,000 in three years, and leave the factory after three years. Whether learning technology or doing something else, you need capital. Because you have saved hundreds of thousands in the factory, you won't be short of money, but on the other hand, 4,000 white-collar workers have enough time to spend money because they work eight hours a day, so 4,000 yuan a month should not have much money left. Without money, they can't do anything else, even if they want to leave halfway, because without savings, they will hesitate whenever they want to leave. I have been doing this for two years! Before I return to my hometown, I really can't stand this life like a robot! The moment I resigned, it was extremely easy to know that these two years were really not worth it!

After returning to my hometown, I found a job I like! Simple, free! Therefore, more money and more trouble, less money and less freedom!
