1. Clean up the storage space

(1) It is recommended to uninstall infrequently used applications, because downloading too many applications will occupy a large amount of memory;

(2) Clean up the mobile phone space: enter the mobile phone housekeeper, select the cleaning acceleration and check the data to be cleaned, and click Delete (selected). You can also use one-click optimization to release the storage space according to the scanning results and cleaning suggestions.

2. Check whether multiple users/privacy spaces are used.

Adding multiple users and opening privacy spaces will occupy your storage space. It is suggested that you can delete the unused multiple users or privacy spaces:

Warm reminder: If you are not using multiple users/privacy spaces or your mobile phone does not support this function, please ignore this scheme.

(1) enter the mobile phone settings, search for multiple users, and see if there are any users that have been created and not used. If there are, please click Multiple Users and select Delete Users.

(2) Enter the phone settings, search the privacy space, and see if there is any privacy space that has been created and not used (when it is displayed, it means that you have not created a privacy space, and when it is displayed, it means that you have created a privacy space). If there is, please click the three buttons in the upper right corner and choose to delete the privacy space.

3. move the large files to the memory card for saving

if your mobile phone supports inserting an external memory card, it is recommended that you insert the external memory card and move the pictures, audio, video and other files stored in your mobile phone to the external memory card to free up the storage space. The operation is as follows:

Enter file management > Browse > My mobile phone, find the file that needs to be moved, long press to check this file, click the move button to move it to an external memory card for saving.

4. Change the default storage location to a memory card

If your mobile phone supports inserting an external memory card, it is recommended that you insert an external memory card and enter Settings > Storage > Default storage location, change the default storage location to an external memory card, so that the memory of the mobile phone itself can not be occupied too much.

5. Restore the mobile phone to the factory settings

It is recommended that you back up the data (WeChat /QQ and other applications need to be backed up separately), enter the mobile phone settings, search for the factory settings, and complete the operation of restoring the factory settings according to the prompts on the mobile phone interface.

1. If your mobile phone is the version of EMUI5.X, please back up the data in advance (WeChat /QQ and other applications need to be backed up separately) and upgrade the system to the latest version. In the earlier version, there was a problem that "the application of the doppelganger class prompts that there is not enough memory when upgrading and updating".

2. You may have visited some application promotion websites in your browser, and the page disguises that the mobile phone has insufficient storage space or running memory to promote the application "optimization" system to you. It is suggested that the browser cache should be cleaned first, and then the virus database of mobile phone housekeeper should be updated to block disguised websites:

EMUI 8.X and below: mobile phone housekeeper > Virus killing > Settings, choose to automatically update the virus database.

EMUI 9.X/1.X/11.X & MagicUI 2.X/ 3.X/4.: mobile phone housekeeper >; Settings, select automatic update virus database/network virus killing.

3. The system update and upgrade failed, and the prompt "Internal storage is insufficient, please delete at least XXX and try again" or "There is not enough space to upgrade": the system upgrade needs to reserve some space, so please clean up enough space according to the prompt.
