In Harry Potter, can the patron saint send messages? Please specify.

The first time I saw the patron saint send a message, it was in the sixth part. Harry was late on the train, and Tonks took him to school. He passed the message to Hagrid with the patron saint. (Of course, Snape came last. )

Also, in the seventh "The Wedding of Lotus and Bill", Jinshi came to use the patron saint to send messages to everyone. Later, Mr Weasley used the patron saint to tell Harry, Ron and Hermione who fled to Grimau Square that everyone was safe.
