Your auto insurance is about to expire, will the insurance company remind you?

Insurance companies usually remind them by SMS or phone before the expiration.

But if you bought your car insurance in a 4s shop or something, the 4s shop probably didn't give your real number to the insurance company, so the insurance company may not be able to contact you.

If you are satisfied with your last company, you can call their unified service number and ask someone to contact you.
