It is recommended that you investigate according to the following conditions:

Scenario 1: All short messages cannot be sent.

1. If it is a dual-card mobile phone, card 1 can move card 2 to telecom, but card 2 cannot send short messages. It may be because the card 1 has turned on the VoLTE function, and there is a network conflict. I suggest you turn off the VoLTE function of 1 card and try again.

2. If you choose to send SMS and prompt failure, you can choose

① Enter SMS > More > Settings and select Restore Default Settings;

② Go to Settings > Application Management > More (or Menu) > Display System Flow, then select information, click Save, and then select Delete Data to clear the cache;

③ Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Backup Reset > Restore Network Settings (some models don't need this setting), and then try whether you can send SMS;

3. If the above can't restore the SMS sending function, please back up the important data and restore the factory settings to try to solve it. If it still can't be solved, please back up the important data in advance and take the purchase invoice to Huawei customer service center for testing and processing.

Scenario 2: Some short messages cannot be sent.

1. If the mobile phone display has been sent, but the other party's mobile phone has not received it, there may be something wrong with the other party's mobile phone or the mobile network in the other area, but there is nothing wrong with your mobile phone;

2. Unable to send a message. The state of the message database may be wrong. You can try deleting the message and editing it again before sending it.

3. If you choose to prompt directly when sending a short message, you can try.

① Enter SMS > More > Settings and select Restore Default Settings;

② Go to Settings > Application Management > More (or menu) > Show system processes, then select information, click Store, and then select Delete Data and Clear Cache;

③ Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Backup and Reset > Select Restore Network Settings (some models don't need this setting), and then try to send it successfully.

4. If the above methods cannot be solved, please back up the important data and restore the factory settings to try to solve it. If it still can't be solved, please go to the after-sales service outlets for maintenance.
