Where is the Guangxi National Museum?

After six years of preparation, the museum was completed on June 5, 2008+February, and officially opened to the public free of charge in May 2009 as a gift to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The museum is located in Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning, adjacent to the beautiful Yongjiang River. Covering an area of 65438 0.30 mu, the museum consists of the main building and the cultural and ecological exhibition garden of traditional folk houses in Guangxi. The main building covers an area of 29,370 square meters. The main building modeling is based on the bronze drum with rich regional and national characteristics in Guangxi. The whole building is like a Kunpeng spreading its wings, wandering among the green mountains and green waters.

There are 6 permanent exhibitions in the museum, among which the large-scale theme exhibition "Colorful Bagui-Guangxi National Culture Exhibition" has an exhibition area of about 4,000 square meters, and more than 800 pieces of national cultural relics are exhibited. The exhibition shows the richness and uniqueness of 12 ethnic groups living in Guangxi comprehensively and vividly through five parts: preface hall, home, suit and tie, ingenuity and charm, and harmonious music. The national special exhibition of cultural relics, Drum Sound Passing through Time and Space-Bronze Drum Culture, covers an exhibition area of 86 1 m2, with nearly 70 pieces of bronze drums on display. The most representative bronze drum cultural resources in Guangxi are displayed through three parts: The Sound of Bronze Drum in Shanzhai, The Road of Bronze Drum and Contemporary Bronze Drum Art. "Zhuang Culture Exhibition" mainly introduces the history and culture of Zhuang people in China. On the basis of a comprehensive and systematic display of Zhuang nationality, highlight the characteristics of Zhuang nationality in Guangxi and show the outstanding achievements and great civilization created by Zhuang nationality in the long history. Colorful China-China National Culture Exhibition shows the profound, integrated and colorful China culture created by 55 ethnic minorities and Han nationality. The colorful World-World Ethnic Culture Exhibition focuses on the physical objects of all continents or countries and ethnic groups, and allows the audience to explore, experience and seek information about the society, economy, culture, customs and religious beliefs of all ethnic groups in the world through a dazzling open exhibition. "Yesterday's Reproduction-Exhibition of Centennial Old Objects" focuses on the 20th century old objects collected by the museum since 20 1 1. The objects in the exhibition are all from ordinary people, seemingly ordinary, but with profound implications. They witnessed the magnificent national rejuvenation, carried the ever-changing social changes and recorded the course of different historical periods. In addition, there are two temporary exhibition halls in the exhibition area, which introduce excellent theme cultural exhibitions all the year round to meet the growing cultural needs of the people.

There are more than 30,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics in the museum, including more than 3,000 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics above Grade III, covering national costumes, silverware, production utensils, religious beliefs, folk crafts, brocade embroidery and so on. Materials are mainly bronzes, bamboo, textiles and silverware. The collection has distinctive features and typical national characteristics. They truly record the modes of production of all ethnic groups in a specific natural and historical environment, and are important physical materials for comprehensively understanding and studying the evolution of the modes of production of all ethnic groups. The cultural relics warehouse of the museum covers an area of about 1500 square meters. According to the collected cultural relics, it is divided into four parts. The warehouse adopts heavy shelves and rail-type dense cabinets, with 24-hour constant temperature and humidity environment.

Museums attach great importance to scientific research, personnel training and diversified personnel structure. Scientific research focuses on the research and protection of national traditional culture and cultural relics, and encourages multidisciplinary integration and development. In the construction project of "1+ 10" of Guangxi National Ecological Museum, the overall driving mechanism of "1+ 10" with Guangxi National Ecological Museum as the leader and ten ecological museums distributed all over Guangxi as workstations is the rescue, protection, utilization, research and development of Guangxi national traditional culture. In the past ten years, the "1+ 10" project of Guangxi National Ecological Museum has fully played an important role in protecting cultural heritage and promoting community development, and has achieved good social and economic benefits, which has been widely recognized as the "Guangxi model" of ecological museums.

Guangxi National Museum is a cultural business card and an important cultural window and display platform in Guangxi.
