How does Apple turn off message notifications?

1. Close the notification center: On Apple devices, you can open the notification center by pulling down the top of the screen, or you can swipe right from the lock screen. If you want to turn off all notifications in the notification center, you can go to Settings → Notification Center in turn, and then turn off the notification center option.

2. Turn off notification for a specific application: If you only want to turn off notification for an application, you can find the application in Settings → Notification Center and turn off its notification option. You can also click the Settings button at the bottom when an application is open to enter the settings interface of an application, and then turn off the notification option.
