We are here today, not just to celebrate the opening ceremony, but to witness a hard-won value of freedom and the arrival of a new era.

In March 2008, NPC deputies completed the revision of the Lawyers Law and approved the establishment of a sole proprietorship law firm through democratic voting. This is not only the first time in the history of People's Republic of China (PRC), but also a milestone in the process of democracy and rule of law in China. The establishment of Jiangsu Runshang Law Firm is not only a new achievement of our team lawyers, but also a touching model of democracy, freedom and openness in China, Jiangsu and Nanjing.

The emergence of sole proprietorship law firms makes us clearly see that the fruits of freedom are so hard-won. It took China nearly 60 years to complete the transformation from attaching importance to collective rights to attaching importance to individual rights. If everyone is the center of the world, then every lawyer is the center of the center. Because: the prosperity of lawyers leads to the prosperity of China, the country is strong when lawyers are strong, and the freedom of lawyers leads to the freedom of the country.

We use Jiangsu Runshang Law Firm to prove to the world that freedom and democracy have become the universal value pursued by the government and people of China, and the pursuit of ideological independence and individuality has become the new trend of lawyers in China.

The establishment of Jiangsu Runshang Law Firm is not only a personal success, but also a success of the people and democracy. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up, we finally stood up bravely.

Dear compatriots, let us always remember this moment, always remember to cherish and be grateful. Because individual law firms did not come out of thin air, but only after difficulties and hardships. Without the firm belief of hundreds of millions of people in freedom and the enlightened opening of leaders, we could not stand here today and celebrate a glorious ceremony belonging to the whole people.

Today, we seem to be standing in front of a brand-new history. The opening of individual law firms has created a brand-new key for our common destiny. The door to freedom has been opened. We are so humble, but we will never back down. We are full of confidence, but we are not complacent at all.

At the moment when he got the practice license from Jiangsu Surun Commercial Law Firm, Cui Wu accepted the entrustment of citizens with the most serious and humble feelings, and vowed to do his best to shoulder the heavy responsibility entrusted by law.

Personally, I know that individuals are definitely not individualism, let alone personal heroism, but personal investment and personal responsibility. The advantage of this system is that it avoids the disadvantages of many large law firms: people are at odds and at sixes and sevens; Slow decision-making and wrangling with each other; Go it alone and beg from your neighbors; Frequent mobility, lack of responsibility. In view of this, we resolutely oppose the extensive management of "pulling people's heads and setting up stalls". Our concept of employing people is: we need everything, optimize the structure, strive for characteristics, and employ people on demand. Our philosophy is: not the biggest, but the best.

I personally deeply understand that every lawyer wants to get rid of dependence and pursue independence; Abandon the sameness and publicize the individuality. Once their wings are full, they want to set up another mountain. Including myself. It is really difficult for lawyers to maintain a long-term and in-depth cooperative relationship. Maintaining a stable cooperative relationship is an urgent need of market economy. In my opinion, the law firm must first establish a benefit-sharing mechanism, so that "those who are near will be happy, and those who are far away will come", so that lawyers can really get together. Law firms and companies operate in different modes. The company mainly relies on capital accumulation and assembly line operation to maintain the unified management and distribution of people, money and materials. However, law firms mainly rely on personal wisdom and experience to serve customers, so it is difficult to implement assembly line operation. It will inevitably lead to the prevalence of mountainism in large law firms. If there is a benefit-sharing mechanism, where everyone is connected by interest ties, and each stakeholder takes part in the benefit sharing, then the situation of "as long as you live better than me" can really appear. This benefit-sharing mechanism can only be established quickly by investing in a single individual law firm. "If people are far away from you, they will cultivate their morality to attract them." We are willing to establish such a fate within the private law firm.

Personal understanding: the internal management structure of the firm is very important to the development of the firm. Private law firms are not a testing ground for personal dictatorship. In the future, the registered director of the firm will only be responsible for the value orientation and grasp of the general direction of the firm in addition to taking overall responsibility for the outside world. The company will have an executive director, who will be appointed once a year and elected openly. We will provide capable lawyers with opportunities to show themselves. I don't have to be in charge, only virtuous and capable people who agree with the value of the firm. We should strive to create a centralized, democratic, vivid and orderly internal order. Let the seeds of democracy and freedom take root, sprout and bear fruit in the law firm first.

Personally, I deeply feel that the establishment of a personal law firm is not a simple publicity and show-off, but a guarantee for external service defects with personal quality and assets. Therefore, we have established our own high-quality service system: discussing all cases, practicing the sand table of mock trials for some major cases, inviting experts to consult according to the requirements of clients, and entrusting insurance companies to underwrite lawyer services. We have also formulated the service standards for lawyers in our firm. Maybe I didn't personally represent other lawyers in our firm, but I can say responsibly that I want to make the handling of every case reflect the quality management of our firm, and even I want to participate in the discussion, form an agency plan and reflect the collective wisdom. We don't allow loose sand to fool the parties. We hope the public can see our name and associate it with our quality service system. We never engage in personality cult in propaganda, but only publicize our unique quality service system. We will never engage in mechanical propaganda that "a lie repeated ten thousand times is the truth". We only publicize our features and products.

I started as a teacher and later worked as a reporter and columnist. Lawyers have been practicing for ten years. In recent years, I have traveled all over the country and felt the heat in the south, the cold in the north, the precipitousness in the west and the flatness in the east. I have represented many major and complicated cases in China, and I know the ups and downs of lawyer practice. I am adhering to the old adage that "different people have different opinions, and wise men have different opinions". I do things with kindness and wisdom, and most of them do not bear the great trust of me when I am in trouble. We know that the structure of the system determines the function of the system. The story of "Chu three schools can destroy Qin" tells us that the strength of the law firm lies not in the number of people, but in the internal composition and collocation. As long as we optimize the combination and publicize the characteristics, it will become indispensable to the market economy.

Dear friends, in the past, lawyers worked hard for the world with their talents. The ancients said, "A three-inch golden tongue is better than a million masters". Nowadays, lawyers can hardly survive without cooperation. In addition to creating cooperation between lawyers by using internal mechanisms, we attach more importance to cooperation with all sectors of society, especially with various intermediary organizations in the market economy. We must resolutely break away from the traditional thinking of "lawyers handling cases" in the past. It is necessary to take advantage of lawyers' familiarity with policies and laws and extensive contacts in all directions to vigorously develop distinctive non-litigation business. We take national laws as the strong backing, social needs as the source, and characteristic talents as the greatest capital. On the stage of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the client, we will definitely continue to stage a wonderful live drama of "stopping the war and paying equal attention to prevention and elimination".

We are well aware that in addition to providing legal services to clients, we also shoulder the heavy responsibility of promoting the progress of the rule of law. Our firm advocates lawyers to write books after handling cases and participate in public welfare. I have worked as a columnist in many newspapers and published many legal monographs. Recently, an unknown lady felt a lot after reading my article and sent me a short message saying, "I don't know you, but I thank you." We are well aware that the shaping of national spirit is inseparable from the participation of lawyers. Pursuing the progress of the rule of law and the happiness of people's livelihood will always be an inexhaustible motive force for us to forge ahead! The value of our existence is that one tree shakes another tree, one cloud pushes another cloud, and one soul awakens another soul. While constantly developing ourselves, we should fulfill our civic responsibilities.

Our firm specializes in civil and commercial affairs and human rights. We know that civil and commercial law is the foundation of all disciplines. Many misjudged criminal cases are caused by law enforcers confusing the boundaries between civil and commercial disputes and criminal offences. Some law enforcement officers only study criminal law and do not pay attention to the perfection of civil and commercial law, which leads to the hollowing out of knowledge. We believe that only lawyers who are proficient in civil and commercial law are the best lawyers to safeguard human rights and defend criminal cases. Therefore, the professional direction of this institute is to deepen civil and commercial law, taking into account criminal defense and administrative litigation in the field of human rights. Today, I can struggle and grow up in the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. After setbacks and tests, I finally got the permission of the law and assumed the heavy responsibility of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of citizens. Personal achievement is so humble, but the implication is precious. No matter how hard the environment is, the motherland is like a loving and selfless mother, constantly giving us opportunities to lead us to realize our beautiful dreams. Only by constantly creating and moving forward hand in hand can we be worthy of the glorious title of "China Lawyer"!
