At present, the cluster epidemic in Heilongjiang, Fujian and other places in China has not yet ended. In order to let everyone have a healthy and happy National Day holiday, Meizhou CDC reminds the general public to do the following:

First, actively vaccinate.

Vaccination is the most effective, economical and convenient way to prevent diseases. In COVID-19, everyone is vaccinated free of charge. In the absence of contraindications, eligible citizens should be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible to jointly establish a group immune barrier.

Second, plan holidays reasonably.

The National Day holiday is the peak season for tourism, and people flow frequently, so there is a greater risk of people involved in the epidemic during the trip. I hope you don't go to areas with high epidemic risk unless necessary, and try to spend your holiday in Mei. If it is really necessary to go out of the city and cross provinces, please be sure to know the latest epidemic situation and epidemic prevention and control policies in the passing cities in advance, consciously abide by and actively cooperate with local staff to implement prevention and control measures, and at the same time record the relevant information of the trip so as to provide relevant investigation information in time when necessary. Strengthen personal protection and keep in mind the "five essentials": you must wear a mask, keep a social distance, cover your cough and sneeze, wash your hands frequently, and open the windows frequently. People who have recently come to Mei from overseas, domestic high-risk areas and local cities should take the initiative to report to their communities, units and hotels 24 hours in advance, do a good job of personal protection on their way back to Mei, and actively cooperate with epidemic prevention personnel to implement relevant control measures such as medical isolation observation, health monitoring and nucleic acid detection after returning to Mei.

Third, do a good job of self-health monitoring 14 days after returning home.

Pay close attention to the physical condition of yourself and your family when you come back from going out. If you have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of sense of smell and taste, you should go to the nearest fever clinic immediately and inform the doctor of your living history. Wear a mask all the way to the hospital and avoid taking public transport. It is suggested that you take the initiative to carry out COVID-19 nucleic acid test after coming to Mei from other provinces.

Fourth, actively cooperate with prevention and control.

Avoid gathering in confined spaces, keep activities as brief as possible, and pay attention to opening windows and ventilation. Participants should do a good job of personal protection, keep a safe distance from others, and put an end to dinner with illness.

Sixth, pay attention to food hygiene.

When eating out, choose a restaurant with regular and good sanitary conditions and advocate the use of public chopsticks and spoons. Refuse to eat game, don't pick and eat wild mushrooms and plants to avoid food poisoning. Food should be cooked separately and cooked thoroughly to reduce the risk of bacterial poisoning.
