My favorite scientist

My favorite scientist is Zhang Heng, a famous astronomer and geographer in China.

Zhang Heng lived from 78 to 139. When he was young, he was very interested in stars and often asked his grandparents who lived with him curiously. Zhang Heng built a model to show how stars move in the four seasons, and drew what he saw, including the sky. At that time, it was hard to convince people of the new theory, but Zhang Heng didn't give up, even though people laughed at him. Instead, he continued his research and his exploration of the universe.

I admire Zhang Heng because he is not only clever, but also patient. He is also curious, careful and creative. He devoted himself to science and made great contributions to science and society.
