Will the court tell you the trial time by text message?

Under normal circumstances, the trial will not be notified by SMS. The court may notify the parties concerned by means of short message, telephone or fax in cases that are tried by summary procedure.

Opening a court session refers to the process of hearing a case in a court or other appropriate place after the people's court completes the preparatory work before opening a court session. Trial is the core stage of court trial procedure.

Legal documents issued by the people's court to the parties, including subpoenas, notices, rulings and judgments, shall be served in writing, unless I agree to serve them in other ways. With the consent of the person to be served, the people's court may serve litigation documents by fax, e-mail and other means that can confirm receipt, except for judgments, rulings and conciliation statements. If it is delivered by the way mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the date when it reaches the addressee's specific system by fax or e-mail shall be the date of delivery.
