Hi! If you don't sync your Microsoft account after deleting the SMS, you can reset your phone by going to phone settings-About. After resetting, please connect the phone to an available network (such as WLAN network), go to phone settings-email+account-long press the logged-in Microsoft account-and then click Sync. If you sync your account after deleting the SMS, you will not be able to retrieve the SMS.
