The current system setting of the hammer is:

The side buttons adjust the volume of the system prompt tone, and do not play audio, video and other media.

When playing the media, the volume of the media is adjusted.

Now imagine that we usually play with the media.

If we play WeChat voice, we can only adjust the volume after playing, which is very unreasonable. If the default volume is too high, users will be scared. Playing a very loud volume beyond the user's expectation is a very bad experience. So is the video. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the media volume at any time.

Secondly, for the system volume, its volume is relatively stable, and the frequency of changing ringtones and system notifications after setting is usually lower than the media volume. Why? Imagine when the user can adjust the volume. One is when the mobile phone makes a sound (no matter what kind of sound it is), and the other is before the user actively plays some audio and video, in order to ensure that the volume is not too loud.

Based on the above two paragraphs, the conclusion is that it is almost impossible for users to change the volume of incoming calls before the phone rings, but it will change the volume of the media. As soon as the phone rings, both of them may have changed. So I suggest that the buttons on the side usually adjust the volume of the media by default. When the mobile phone sounds, the control function of the side buttons is determined by judging whether it is the system sound or the media sound.

To put it bluntly, it is to change the default adjustment system volume in the existing mechanism of the hammer into the media volume. Adjust the system volume in Settings-Ringtone and Vibration.

Let's talk about mute again

Touch the passive trigger mentioned earlier and need to be mentioned here. The hammer is now set to mute, so all the sounds are gone.

However, I think that mute should be to set passive ringtones such as incoming calls and notifications to 0, because if users actively play videos and voices, they definitely want to hear the sound, so this part of the volume should not be muted. Moreover, from the setting of timed mute, Hammer also thinks that mute is a part of the usage scene, especially during meetings, so it would be nice if I didn't let the bell and notice interfere with me during meetings. You don't need a stick to kill all the sounds. Is it a friend who can secretly watch videos and play games for the convenience of meeting?

By the way, if the side button has a mute switch, the shortcut button in the status bar doesn't need a mute switch, right? You don't think this is repetitive. Consider putting an automatic brightness level on it.

Finally, the notice column is divided into two parts, one for voice search and the other for search. Well, I think it's for symmetry.
