Wuhu is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, referred to as Jiangcheng and Jiuzi for short. City introduction

Wuhu, formerly known as Jiuzi, was founded in the Spring and Autumn Period. Qin Shihuang unified China and established a county system, from Geng Yi County to Wuhu City. During this period, the name of organizational system changed with the change of dynasties. Since the Southern Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, the name of Wuhu has been used to this day, and it has enjoyed the reputation of "Jiangdong Famous City" and "Wuchu Famous District" since ancient times.
