Will text messages and address books be retained after the iphone is changed?

As long as Apple's mobile phone is backed up in iTunes or iCloud, SMS and address book will be kept.

You can back up the data in your mobile phone to the cloud by opening "Backup" in the figure below. Newly bought mobile phone, set the same Apple ID number, enter the password, and you can restore the backup from the cloud to the mobile phone.

Using cloud backup is more worry-free, and there is no need for complicated operations on the computer. The process is stupid.

If you don't consider SMS, turn on the "Address Book" switch under iCloud. As shown in the figure below.
