How to turn off HONOR's music

If your phone automatically plays music or sound, you can do so in the following ways:

1. Check whether the music player is turned on.

If the music player is turned on:

(1) You may accidentally touch the buttons of wired headphones and Bluetooth headphones. You can solve the problem by turning off the remote control function of the application.

Take Huawei Music as an example: Go to Huawei Music > My > Settings and turn off the playback switch that supports headset and Bluetooth control.

(2) You may have mishandled the holster, desktop music icon, etc. It is recommended that you manually close the application that plays music automatically.

(3) After plugging in Huawei's original headphones, the mobile phone automatically plays music. This is the function of Huawei Music App. If you don't want to play music, you can close Huawei Music App in the nearest taskbar.

2. Check whether the smart life application is set to play music, weather, news and other scenes regularly.

If the scene of automatically playing music/weather/news is set in the smart life App, music or sound will be automatically played under the trigger condition. Please open your smart life > scene to check the settings of the scene. If the scene is no longer needed, you can close the scene or long press the scene card and click Delete to delete the scene.

3. Check whether relevant scenes are set in the Smart Assistant.

Please check whether settings > Smart Assistant > Scene Linkage > related scenes have been set in My Scene. If the scene is no longer needed, you can close it, or press and hold the scene card and click Delete to delete it.

4. Check the system default notification ringtone.

If the default notification ringtone is set to music, the mobile phone will play music when it receives the notification message, making you mistakenly think that the concert will play automatically.

Confirmation mode: enter Settings > Sound/Sound and Vibration >; Default notification ringtone, click to audition the selected ringtone to confirm whether it is the ringtone you hear automatically.

HarmonyOS system 2.0: Go to Settings > Sound and Vibration, click and select the ringtone such as incoming call ringtone, information ringtone and notification ringtone, and confirm whether it is the ringtone you hear automatically.

5. Check the application notification ringtone.

If a single application plays music when notifying the message, it may be that the application has set the notification ringtone separately.

You can enter the settings of the application and confirm whether you hear the ringtone that plays automatically. If so, I suggest you turn the ringtone to silent notification. For example:

Information: enter information >; More (three points/four points) > Settings > information ringtone, and check whether the ringtone is set to music.

Wechat: Go to Wechat > Me > Settings > New Message Reminder > New Message System Notification >; Ring tone, check whether the ring tone is set to music.

Healthy use of mobile phone: enter Settings, search, enter Application Management > 3 o'clock/4 o'clock > display system progress, find the healthy use of mobile phone, select notification management, and check whether the ringtone in the reminder program is set to music.

You can also turn off notification rights for an application:

(1) Set the application method separately: first clear the notification in the drop-down notification bar, and then when you encounter this problem, slightly slide the drop-down notification bar to the left or right on the new application notification, click Enter after the gear icon appears, and turn off the notification permission switch of the application or select the ringtone as None.

HarmonyOS System 2.0: After clicking the gear icon, you can directly choose to close the notification or set it as silent notification in the pop-up window.

(2) Application method of batch setting: Enter the mobile phone setting, enter the notification/notification center, click Enter Batch Management, turn off all switches, and then turn on the notification switch of the application as needed.

Warm reminder: Some models do not have all switches, so you need to manually set the application notification switch separately.

6. Check whether privacy space/multi-user is enabled.

If you don't receive any notification when your mobile phone plays music automatically, you may have opened the privacy space/multi-user. When some third-party applications of private space/multi-users receive the message, the main space can also hear the message notification tone.

Please switch to private space/multi-user, and confirm as follows:

Privacy space: enter the settings, search to enter the privacy space, and see if the privacy space has been created (the display entry instruction has been created, but the display opening instruction has not been created). If yes, please enter the inspection.

Multi-user: Go to Settings and search for multi-user/user to see if there are any other users. If yes, please enter to check.

7. Check whether on-demand reading/blind reading mode (screen reading) is turned on.

In intercom mode, the phone will automatically read out the specific contents of your touch, selection and activation. Closing method:

Enter settings, search for screen reading/intercom, and turn off this switch.

In the on-demand reading mode, as long as you click on specific content on the screen, such as words or pictures, the system will read it out loud. Closing method:

Enter settings, search for on-demand reading, and turn off the on-demand reading switch.

8. Restart the device

I suggest you restart your mobile phone. Restarting the phone can close some abnormally started applications and let the phone resume normal operation.

If you still can't solve your problem, please back up your data in advance (third-party applications such as QQ and WeChat need to be backed up separately) and bring the purchase voucher to Huawei Customer Service Center for testing.
