This paper discusses several notification methods of international postal remittance.

There are four notification methods for international postal remittance: self-notification, telephone notification, address delivery and address delivery. (2 points)

1) Self-notification: it refers to the business that the sender notifies the payee of the remittance information in time and informs the payee to withdraw money at the collection point after sending the remittance. ( 1)

2) Telephone notification: It means that the foreign exchange receiving office in the city where the payee is located can notify the payee to collect the remittance according to the telephone number provided by the remitter. The remittance time limit of this notification method depends on the notification time limit of the receiving country. ( 1)

3) Delivery by address: refers to the business that the collecting bank accepts the entrustment of the remitter and notifies the payee to withdraw money from the collecting bank by delivering the withdrawal notice. ( 1)

4) Address delivery: It means that the collection office in the city where the remitter is located delivers the remittance to the remitter according to the detailed address provided by the remitter. The remittance time limit of this notification method depends on the delivery time limit of the receiving country. ( 1)
