What is the reason why men generally don't reply to their girlfriends' text messages?

There are too many reasons, such as busy work, things to deal with at home, other hobbies and so on. This is my analysis from a man's point of view for reference only. You can call him and ask what's going on. Sometimes a phone call is much better than a text message.
