How to delete all short messages

Note: This method will delete all SMS messages from the iPhone. If there are important messages to save, you can take screenshots or copy them into the memo to save.

Step 1: Open phone settings-Messages-Keep information and change the information retention time to 30 days. At this time, the phone will pop up a prompt box, asking whether to delete all messages that are more than 30 days old, and click Delete.

Step 2: Turn on Settings-General-Date and Time, turn off the automatic setting option and adjust the time to 30 days later.

Step 3: Close and reopen the information application in the background, and then you can find that the information has been deleted. Remember to go back to the date and time settings and turn on automatic settings again.

In addition, if you are annoyed by the harassment of spam, you can block the unknown sender or directly turn off the iMessage function:

Filter out iMessage messages from unknown senders: Open the device settings, find messages from unknown senders, and turn on this function.

If you don't need to use the iMessage information function, you can turn it off in Settings-Information.
