Notice of Xixian County People's Government on the Total Prohibition of Fireworks and Firecrackers in Xixian County

In order to strengthen the safety management of fireworks and firecrackers, ensure the safety of people's lives and property, reduce air pollution, improve air quality, and create a clean and beautiful urban environment, according to the requirements of the State Council's "Regulations on the Safety Management of Fireworks and Firecrackers" and other laws and regulations, relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.

1. Areas where fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited: all areas within Xixian County.

Second, all organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions, communities, villagers' committees, owners' committees of residential quarters, and property service enterprises within the county should do a good job in the management of the prohibition of fireworks and firecrackers in their own units and regions, and promptly dissuade, stop and report acts in violation of this circular.

Third, hotels, restaurants and all kinds of operators providing festive and funeral activities within the county should inform consumers in writing of the regulations prohibiting the discharge of fireworks and firecrackers and discourage illegal discharge of fireworks and firecrackers; If dissuasion is ineffective, it shall report to the public security organ.

Four, fireworks in the county, the public security organs shall be ordered to stop the discharge; If fireworks and firecrackers are set off in a way that endangers public security and personal and property safety, the public security organs shall give warnings, fines and administrative detention as appropriate.

Five, due to special circumstances such as major celebrations, it is really necessary to set off fireworks and firecrackers, which need to be studied and agreed by the county government and implemented according to procedures.

Six, please consciously abide by the provisions of this notice. Anyone has the obligation to dissuade the illegal production, operation, transportation, storage, carrying and discharge of fireworks and firecrackers, or report to the public security organ at1/kloc-0.
