How to accurately locate GPS reception?

The GPS system is indeed passive positioning. The receiver (navigator) only passively receives the signal of GPS satellite, and then calculates its own position.

Working principle:

Every GPS satellite constantly transmits signals to the whole world. When the receiver receives the signals, it can measure the time of signal propagation in space, so that the distance from the satellite to the receiver can be obtained (in fact, this distance is wrong, so it is called pseudo-range);

The position of a satellite in space is known, and its information is called ephemeris. Therefore, the receiver can determine the position of the receiver in space by receiving more than three satellite signals and combining the equations of three coordinate systems.

In fact, when radio waves propagate in space, there will be delay due to medium and other reasons, so the fourth equation is needed to eliminate this delay error. The result is the theoretical positioning value. Therefore, GPS positioning requires more than four satellites to participate.

I don't know if I made myself clear.
