Samsung 9118 screen does not turn off automatically after receiving text messages

1. Confirm whether the distance sensor at the top of the screen is blocked.

2. This product supports turning off the distance sensor. It is automatically locked by the distance sensor during a call and automatically unlocked when the distance sensor is not blocked. Note: This function can be turned off, Settings - Call Settings - Other Settings - Turn on the Proximity Sensor check box. If not checked, the screen will not be locked during a call (except for long calls)

3. Check whether third-party software is installed in the phone (such as 360, Tencent Butler and other management software) software), please delete such software.

4. Back up mobile phone data (phone book, text messages, pictures, etc.) and restore the phone to factory settings (Settings-Reset/Privacy-Restore factory settings).
