First, turn on the phone, find the setting icon on the phone desktop, and click the setting icon.

We can see two ways for us to send and receive short messages, namely, Apple account and mobile phone number, so others can send us spam messages by email without knowing our mobile phone number.

Back to the previous page, we need to turn off imessage when we receive SMS in the form of email, as shown below.

Or you can choose the last option to filter unknown senders or refuse to receive spam messages from email accounts.
