Why did Huawei p9 receive the notification message without prompting?

1. Check which application is the currently set default SMS application.

"Settings > Application Management > Advanced > Default Application Settings > Information."

You can see the default SMS application name currently in use. If you are using a third-party SMS application, please check Messages and use the default SMS application. At the same time, uninstall the third-party SMS application.

2. Check whether the default SMS application has notification bar display permission.

Go to Settings > Application Management (or Applications), find "Huawei Address Book" in the "All Applications" list, click, and then click "Permission" to see if the "SMS" switch is turned on. If not, please open it.

3. Please check whether the information notification reminder in the notification center is turned off.

Go to settings > notification bar and status bar > notification center > information, and check whether "Allow notification" is turned on and whether information notification is displayed in the status bar, banner and screen lock interface.
