After reading it, she immediately gave instructions, told the housing management department to solve it quickly, and sent someone to follow up the field inquiry until the old lady was satisfied. She said: "A letter represents the hearts of the masses, and the masses have placed great hopes on the party. The minimum requirement of the masses is to be eager for a satisfactory answer. " During the drought in the 1960s, the fishermen of Hushan Fishing Team were unable to fish because of the drought and were mobilized to work in Xisan Farm. However, for these fishermen, especially some old and frail fishermen, fishing is their specialty, but farming is very difficult, which is not only inefficient, but also has poor income. Therefore, they hope to return to their original places to engage in fishery production and send representatives to make demands to relevant departments. However, after running for two or three years, there is no result, and the relevant departments can push and push each other. Huang Jianying was deeply moved after learning about this. He immediately called the leaders of grain, public security, civil affairs and other relevant departments to discuss and coordinate solutions. Finally, he decided to approve the request of these fishermen to return to their original places to participate in fishery production, and also issued a special document. Huang Jianying often said, "As a cadre in party member, you should not mind other people's business, but your own. You must be careful, anxious about the urgency of the masses and think about what the masses think. " Hushan fishermen still can't forget her merits.

At that time, according to the regulations, she could get three kilograms of non-staple food tickets every month as a night meal subsidy, but she never got it. Once, she went to the oil mill to take part in labor, and said to me in advance, "You can't pretend to take part in labor, but be true. If someone comes to talk to me about business, you should receive it first. " At the end of the day, I was sweating and covered in dust. That year, Huang Jianying's mother died of illness. She was very sad when she learned about it. She set off at once, took the children back to her hometown and said goodbye to the old man.
