What is the reason why Apple 6 can't send iMessage free SMS?

Step 1: Make sure the phone is connected to the network.

Because iMessage sends information through the network, please connect your mobile phone to the cellular mobile network or wireless network before sending. Find the "Settings" icon on the iPhone home screen, and click Open, as shown.

Step 2: Activate the iMessage service.

After connecting the iPhone to the network, the next thing to do is to activate the iMessage service. Find the "Settings" icon on the iPhone home screen, and click Open, as shown.

After the activation is successful, you can see that the switch of iMesaage is on. The other two options that need to be clear are:

First, send a read receipt to let the other party see the time when we read the information.

Second, when iMessage is unavailable, it will be sent by SMS, which means that when there is no network or Apple's iMessage information service fails, the system will automatically send it by SMS.

Step 3, send iMessage information.

When the iMessage service is successfully activated, you can send iMessage information to your friends. However, there is also a prerequisite for sending iMessage, that is, the other party also uses iPhone and has also opened iMessage information service. Find the Info icon on the iPhone home screen and click Open, as shown.

Then select the friend who wants to send iMessage, and do the same operation as sending normal SMS. The iMessage message will be displayed in blue, and the words iMessage will be seen in the SMS input box, as shown in the figure.

When the iMessage is successfully sent, you can see the message "Sent" displayed below. This shows that the other party's iPhone has successfully received this iMessage message.

If the other party turns on the "Send Read Receipt" switch in iMessage, we can also see the time when the other party views iMessage information, as shown in the figure.
