Official announcement! Partial IELTS and TOEFL tests to resume in July

On the 29th, the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education issued a notice. Based on the new coronavirus epidemic prevention and control situation and the actual situation of each overseas examination center, after studying and consulting with relevant foreign examination sponsoring organizations, it was decided to do the following for overseas examinations in July. Adjustments:

1. University of Science and Technology of China, Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Ningbo University, Xi'an International Studies University, Shenzhen City College, Shanghai Middle School, Changzhou Senior High School, Dongguan Wensheng International will resume from July 11 The TOEFL test of the school, Suzhou International Preparatory School and Shenzhen SEG Talent Training Center (***11 test sites, the TOEFL test on July 4th and 5th is cancelled, and the test fee will be fully refunded to the candidate's personal registration account). Other TOEFL test centers still do not meet the conditions for group examinations and will continue to cancel their TOEFL tests in July. The test fees will be fully refunded to the candidates' personal registration accounts.

2. Starting from July 9, all computerized IELTS tests at the IELTS Shanghai Computer-Based Testing Center, Guangzhou Computer-Based Testing Center and Chongqing Computer-Based Testing Center will be resumed (***3 computer-based test sites, 4 computer-based IELTS test centers Examination rooms); Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Ningbo University, Xiamen University, Guangxi University, Xi'an International Studies University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Shaanxi Normal University, Sichuan International Studies University, Chongqing University, Shijiazhuang Institute of Information Engineering will gradually resume from July 11 and Shenzhen SEG Talent Training Center's various IELTS paper-based tests (***12 paper-based test sites, the IELTS test before the retest date will be cancelled, the test fee will be fully refunded to the candidate's personal registration account, please see registration for specific arrangements website notification). Other IELTS points still do not meet the conditions for group examinations and will continue to cancel their IELTS examinations in July. The examination fees will be fully refunded to the candidates' personal registration accounts.

3. University of Science and Technology of China, Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Ningbo University, Xi'an International Studies University, Shenzhen City College, Shanghai Middle School, Dongguan Wensheng International School and Shenzhen SEG Talent will resume from July 12 GRE test at the training center (***9 test points). Other GRE test centers still do not meet the conditions for group examinations and will continue to cancel their GRE tests in July. The test fees will be fully refunded to the candidates' personal registration accounts.

4. Starting from July 9, the GMAT exams at Shanghai and Guangzhou GMAT test centers, Suzhou University, Ningbo University, Xi'an International Studies University and Shenzhen SEG Talent Training Center will be resumed (***6 test centers, among which GMAT exams taken before July 9 are cancelled, and the exam fee will be fully refunded to the candidate’s personal registration account). Other GMAT test centers still do not meet the conditions for group examinations and will continue to cancel their July GMAT examinations. The examination fees will be fully refunded to the candidates' personal registration accounts.

5. The TestDaF exam held on July 4, 2020 is cancelled.
